Yes I agree !!! But oh look at this .it’s so catchy .it looks so dreamcastist .graphics maps texture
Yes, but I think he knew what he was doing when he made the video. Like mentioned he must have been trying to capitalize on the recent mentions of it in that interview and simply just turned graphics setting to low and installed a HUD mod where it shows Dreamcast icons for button presses. He also made it in 240p to give it that early internet video feeling. He did a great job with it cause it is very convincing looking.

TBH if we're modding game controls, then it should take advantage of the dual analog sticks. Something needs to give to get the dual stick functions working, and clearly controller developers don't give a toss about actually improving the DC's controller properly.
I'd be keen to see how far the GTA2 camera and gameplay could be bent to emulate GTA3 more closely. It would definitely not be a perfect match, but it would be cool to see how the Dreamcast and GTA2 assets hold up with that kind of mod.
Wow that looks great. Goes to show how nice the environments in GTA 2 can look up close. From what I remember a lot was able to be modded, can script all new missions, can mod basically anything even add in cities from GTA 1 and London spinoff. I just wonder how hard it is to use 3D car models. I guess we would obviously have to go without any animated wheels, but still would be a nice thing to see.
Some guy even went to the trouble to recreate the vehicles form that game in 3D, but be warned they are super detailed no no chance in hell they could every work for a Dreamcast mod.

Well first step is to take gta 2 from Dreamcast and brake camera view .you have to go to the bedbug menu and free camera .if it’s not possible then camera barriers can brake .there is even a YouTube channel that brake camera in games
Anthony817 wrote:Can you link me to what you are talking about? Preferably a video of it happening on this game?
Yes Chanel is Shesez and it’s call boundary break .check sonic adventure 1 dx https://youtu.be/Qw6Vpv_xiRQ I believe we can break camera in gta 2 in pc and apply to Dreamcast later with pc assets

I've never seen that before - it's amazing the Renderware engine was brilliant but don't think it suited the DC can't recall any games using - maybe Trickstyle? But I might be wrong about that.
