i noticed the format for intellivision roms is different than .rom files used with your port of mess/intellivision.
what do you need to do to convert a newer intellivision romset that is .bin, .int, .itv also .cfg files that go with some of these as well?
i had to use an older cdi of the intellivision dc emu and the roms that were in the software/intv folder.

i also found these intellivision system bioses:

intv.zip - Intellivision
intv2.zip - Intellivision II
intvecs.zip - Intellivision Entertainment Computer System
intvkbd.zip - Intellivision Keyboard Component
intvsrs.zip - Super Video Arcade

there might be a few others that i'm missing from that list. mattel aquarius?
voice talking is what i wanted but it's even hard to get that working on 2003 mess it has to load both at once then load the cart at the end

SMiTH wrote:bob, don't you think the keyboard arrow keys should also be for d-pad movement?
the arrow keys are right next to numpad.

you would have to do some odd maneuvering to get the dc controller d-pad next to the keyboard numpad and maybe tons of duct tape lol idk.
The Intellivision isn't like the Atari 2600, it has angular movement just like a Dreamcast game and it was a round disc for movement like a D-Pad on a Dreamcast controller. 16 directions in all, the first of it's kind.
