I have burned the .cdi (with ImgBurn) but the DC keeps resetting.
Am I doing something wrong?

a bit wasteful burn these on cd, you brave
they are targeted mainly on gdemu users, to make a collection

but yes, should work also on cd
the media used can make difference when burning, and you can try Discjuggler in alternative

is it your laser ok? you can also extract the files and rebuild adding a dummy file, if is a little weak

this is built as data/data, i can rebuilt as audio/data if you want make another try

I'm a bit confused.
The CD's are the same brand I have used for quite some time and they have worked rather well with the DC, so far.
I have also burned previous cdi files from 'single games' posted here and this didn't happen before.
But you must be right, I must be pushing the DC drive..
Could you please rebuild the file as audio/data?

Edit: maybe I can do it myself.
So, I mount the cdi file in a virtual drive.
Copy all the files into a working folder.
Use bootdreams to point to that folder, add a dummy file and build a new discjuggler-cdi file.
I can chose either data/data or audio/data format, which one is preferable for DC drive?

iirc Imgburn prefers a bit more audio/data, and in general it is used more than data/data

yeah, you can try to add a dummy file to push the little sized files to the external part of the cd, to not stress too much the laser

very difficult game, but still an Amiga milestone, mainly for graphics and sound

back in the day, it was like the first flag planted to the moon, a crude tech demonstration mostly

a good thing, it surely helped to finally put in a corner the 'lazy' Atari ST ports

the third Taito chapter, after Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands
this is a test release, the game has been totally played so precached in RAM, and then freezed;
so very limited and quick disk access ingame, prolly less audio stuttering overall, in that phases;
ussload treatment, built with the 4.0 no leds version

interesting game, multi genre, not properly long to complete but very playable imo;
checked for a working release (both disks), applied ussload

ok the digitized pictures are badly displayed, but the game itself and all the rest seems working great

an old one, c64 port
still good graphic for the age, the original was an extremely hard game

this has an autofire mode already enabled, in this way it's a lot better imo
level 1 preloaded, ready to go

made EASY to be played (better?), another really hard
many lives, unlimited fuel, ready to go with working joypad controls;

this has an annoying controls bug in original, never fixed
each play, it keeps changing from the keyboard and joystick controls

so i have freezed the game when the joystick worked, and added many lives
a compromise lol

it works great here, now it's more playable than in past imo
the purpose of the game, is to search and grab the metal orb in each level,
and bring it back to the main ship (at the top of each level)

controls :
