Why bother playing such an old and worn out game... when we "just" can take the Simulant engine, gather a bunch of passionate and dedicated guys/gals (who really know what they are doing), blend it with some time and have our own 3D GTA "clone" on Dreamcast

Or some thing really new i agree with that..
I agree with porting GTA 3 to DC. It needs to be done, why?
It will show what the Dreamcast couldve done
I see ports of all sorts of other games but for some reason GTA 3 is always a problem with you, get a life

Then why play a dreamcast then? All the games are old.
I feel like GTA3 should be banned here. There is always some obnoxious idiot demanding it should be ported to DC and saying how possible it should be because blah blah blah game looks better and runs on DC. People like Atomic Punk just drag this forum down and are annoying/insulting people that actually contribute to DC development and community
I'd love to see it as the whole emotion engine thing still triggers me 25 years later :p. But I think it's kind of a moot point. Think about it in Crazy Taxi if you had the ability to walk around the city as Gus and also hop in his cab you've got CTA which proves a GTA style game on Dreamcast is possible so do you actually need the port to prove a point which is for me at least pretty obvious. I think I'm right in saying best minds in the DC world agree so a port could be done albeit with hefty amount of unpaid hours and grind so the question is why would you. I'd much rather the few devs keeping this scene going spend time doing what they enjoy and I support in my small way when and where I can. Ask not what the DC community can do for you my friend but what you can do for the DC community. That said I'm still downloading a DC GTA port if anyone gets round to it :p
