I would like to say that I used dial up through Vonage with free Metconnect today to test the web browser and try to connect to the pso server here. It connected the first tine and dropped but the second dial worked like a charm. I was even using the vonage adapter over wifi which I though would give it more trouble.

I'm sorry to keep rehashing old topics around here, but theres just so much info that appears to be common knowledge here.

One of my many mod projects includes a custom saturn bomberman console with a built in netlink. I wasn't sure if i'd just leave the telephone jack on the console case, or first invest in this and test it first;

I threw this idea around at the netlink league a while ago and got mixed ideas, mostly saying that conversion of analog telephone to digital, and then transmitting it via blue tooth, would cause degradation. But on the other hand since its a very simple signal being sent (saturn bomberman is hardly a techy game), that it might not have any negative effects.

Favrenation does your digital phone line function nicely still? Would you care to give a bit more info on its practicality? I'd love to have a wirelessly online saturn, but to just test this as you can see would cost me quite a bit.

Well I have disconnection issues when I play PSO. Im not sure if its the same on the other a games but I can connect. You have to make sure you use the G.711 codec. That Codec has no compression. It is also probably a good idea to get a P.O.T.S filter. Another thing you could do is call Vonage and change the Packetization from 20 to 10. Since the Saturn is low bandwidth I think it might work but I have been that website before and it seems like the Saturn can't tolerate digital telephone lines.

EDIT: I checked the product you had and that just allows you to use a regular phone with your bluetooth cellphone. It also says:
NOTE: Cell phone network providers do not support FAX, Modem, Satellite TV, Tivo, Credit Card Processor or 911 caller location. This services will function only with active Land Line Phone Service.
I don' think that is what you are looking for.
