(First post, hello!) Which one's better? From what I understand, De La is a reimport of JGR back into Japan but with even more features, but is there any downsides to using De La? Does its internet functions work the same as JGR (hopefully in English)? And while I have heard that De La can be set to English depending on the DC's language, is there anything that's untranslated compared to JGR in this configuration? Or is it basically identical to JGR plus the new features?
Thanks!

Re: NA Jet Grind Radio vs. JP De La Jet Set Radio
I don't fully remember... But I think De Ra doesn't have all the American changes to the soundtrack (like putting in Rob zombie). Otherwise it's generally the same content, the US version had some new content compared to the original jpn release such as the grind city levels and some balancing tweaks to make the game easier, like longer timers and less health being taken out for enemy hits, and I think that justified the rerelease in Japan.
Could be wrong but I think cube had a change to her costume and not sure combo was in original Japan jsr.
If you have the US or pal version of the game there isn't a significant reason to buy De Ra from a game content and gameplay perspective.

De La is the best version. I remember trying to convince people to always get that version when I moderated Theisozone. It actually had updated contros/handling for the characters so it took into consideration feedback from original release and it made some quality of life improvements which I believe didn't even make it into the HD version. I can't speak on the missing US songs like Rob Zombie as I can't remember reading anything about that or if it was included with that release.
De La Jet Set Radio (デ・ラ・ジェット セット ラジオ De Ra Jetto Setto Rajio?) is a re-release of Jet Set Radio in Japan with several changes including the addition of extra levels already present in the NTSC and PAL versions of the game.
Notable Changes
Easier to pick up gameplay compared to the original Japanese release.
Includes additional music from the PAL release of Jet Set Radio.
Includes the two additional levels from the NTSC and PAL versions of Jet Set Radio.
Two extra characters were made playable as well.
In-game text is displayed in whichever language the Dreamcast console is set to.
