hi, the internal memory in my dreamcast went a few years ago now, i just wondered if any of you have had the same problem and if you know how to fix it?
im guessing this could become a problem as i will have to re-install dreamkey every time i want to play dreamcast

Have you tried to erase the Dreamcast 's internal memory? They are several guides around that tell you how to do it maybe something went bad and it wrote wrong data to the chip.
If the eeprom chip is really broken (and they hardly do) you might be able to replace it. I have not looked at the pcb for a long time and don't know where it is located or if it's possible at all.. (lookup If it's inside a socket or directly soldered on the pcb)
