Dreamcast not booting burned games.

Hi all, recently purchased another Dreamcast after my last one bit the dust. While I'm waiting for my GDEmu to come in, I figured I'd burn some CD-Rs to play. Only problem is, the Dreamcast refuses to read any of them.

I'm using IMGBurn (w/Dreamcast plugin), the ReviveDC releases, Verbatim CD-Rs that are about a year and a half old, and I know for a fact it's a VA1, because I took the damn thing apart to make sure it wasn't a bad reshell with a VA2 board inside. Audio CDs load up just fine (tested 6 different ones), meaning it's a problem with either the CD-Rs themselves or the way I'm burning them.


Edit: Got it to work! .....for one session. It loaded SF3 Third Strike, but I had to turn it off to run some errands and now it refuses to read them again.

Edit Edit: Figured it out, the drive's going kaput. I got it to recognize a fresh game, but as soon as it got past the Sega screen and would've started really chugging to read the disc, it kicked me back to the menu.

A trick that might work. Turn on the console until the disc is spinning at full speed, quickly switch the console off and back on again, this will get the disc spinning fast enough to boot. GD-Jump-Start
