Internal HDD + VGA latest methods?

Hi all. I’m new to dreamcast. I have bought one for my self past year but didn’t have time for modding it. But now that I have enough time I want to add two mods to it.

First I want to add a 2.5” HDD inside the case. Since IDE HDDs are quite rare these days, I want to add a SATA<->PATA adapter to install a sata drive. And Since the the optical drive is working so I’m not going to remove it if possible.

Second thing I really like to install is a VGA output.

Any help would be appreciated.

Be prepared for the fact that SATA will not work on your console; at the moment it is not known why the SATA adapter does not work on some consoles.

Also, with a SATA adapter you will have worse compatibility

I'd like to add that internal VGA mods are completely pointless these days as VGA adapters are plentiful and cheap.
