Definitely interested in hosting the custom maps eventually. Once on the new PC, the plan will be to host a different game type each week, so custom maps would be a welcome addition.

Please PM me or put it on here, what I need to do to host the custom maps.

Sent you the noghost server mod in order to get message of the day working and the custom map server files.
Check out the noghost website in the readme for all the commands.

Thanks to mechanic again for all his help yet again with the server stuff.

Streamed a run through of the server playing on PC today, sadly no human players joined but shows everything running smoothly and the Dreamcast music playing on the correct maps etc:

The master list on the forum appears to be down at the moment, is this affecting the Dreamcast in game server list as well? Haven’t been on my DC to check…

I'd say maybe set up a game time here. Create a post and schedule a game night to get some players in.
Answer is yes. If dctalk master list is down you wont see it on the dreamcast

Yep, I think that will the next active stage to see how the server runs when it’s full with four players. Will get that organised soon.

The master list of servers on this forum is still down but interestingly when I went on my DC today, you can still see and play on all the servers as normal.

Is this an issue with the forum itself?

AliExpress cheap mini PC arrived from China the other day and have now setup it up to run the Buddy and Holly server.

Machine will be on 24/7 and I’ll be organising a session on Quake 3 to fully test the server soon.
