Virtua Athlete 2K Website Restoration

Are they any plans to restore the Virtua Athlete 2K website? I think being able to upload times with leaderboards etc would add a lot to the game today.

I noticed a lot of Athlete2K data under the rank01.dricas.ne.jp domain when working on SegaGT. The SegaGT leaderboards consumed about 2 weeks of my free time to audit and compile in plain html.
