Re: GTA 3 Port by SKMP
I have been trying to get this working for hours & hours today and just cannot get it working!
I am certainly no pro at this kind of thing but have modded several pc game successfully with no issues in the past - yet this is doing my brain in!
an error i get constantly is
*** Repack Completed Successfully ***
mkdir -p repack-data/gta3
cp GTA3SF8.b repack-data/gta3/GTA3SF8.b
mkdcdisc -e dca3.elf -o dca3.cdi -d repack-data/gta3/ -n DCA3 -a "the gang"
/bin/sh: mkdcdisc: command not found
make: *** [dca3-prebuilt.cdi] Error 127
I have no idea how to get around this - I own the old PC version of GTA3 (2 disc version) I have everything I should need but it will not work! Can anyone point me in the right direction please
EDIT**
after reinstalling everything and starting from scratch - it is finally wokring!!!! No idea why to be honest - I did everything the exact same!
Now playing it and loving it

Yup. Just build new cdi with latest elf. If you still have the repack data from a previous build it will take 10 seconds.

Yes the mission where you have to crush the car doesn't work. There's a bug in it, it doesn't want to crush itDreamcastnews wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 5:29 pm Anyone else having issues with the missions that require the crusher?

Wanted to give a big shout out to the team for doing an amazing job! I've been following this project since the beginning and am super thrilled to see it getting released along with all of the positive feedback!
