Does everybody know how to fix the on foot camera? You just have to change the keyboard and mouse settings from classic to standard, then back to classic again. You have to do it in game and every time you start or load a save.

I was having issues with changing radio stations with the controller. I ended up fixing it by accident after recompiling the game after hearing about the crusher bug, and then dpad right is now changing the stations. I guess they also fixed that.

Someone also mentioned having trouble saving. I found out the hard way that the dca3 faq tells you that you need 59 blocks free. If you don't have it available, it will just look like it saved, but you won't find out it didn't work until you turn your dreamcast back on.

Thought these tips might be useful for someone else. Thanks guys for making the impossible port!

Yeah, our VMU situation kind of sucks atm. I'm working on a bunch of stuff for our VMU driver/thread, and making saving/loading less sketchy is one of them.

Hey, guys, are any of you remembering to open us up tickets on our GitLab so we can track these issues for when some of us on the team get time to work and are looking for tasks?

Also helps others see existing bugs and potential solutions.

Post them here, if you don't already see your bug with a ticket made for it yet! https://gitlab.com/skmp/regta3dc/-/issues

Ahh cool thats good to know it's a known issue, I keep getting crashing there but thought it was maybe the build or maybe the way I was trying to complete the mission.

I have a question for the more knowledgable, how do you know when the ELF file is new/has been updated?

Is the one linked to on the gitlab always the newest one?

I got a PC laptop and amazingly with my limited PC skills and the concise instructions I have managed to make a .cdi (although I cannot make the GDEmu cdi as it always gives me an error :()

Problem is I still have crashing on Skunk in the Trunk and assume I am doing something wrong but everything seems correct :?

Here is how I get the latest ELF: go to https://gitlab.com/skmp/dca3-game/-/jobs
Look for the most recent entry that says #NUMBERS: build-dreamcast and click the download Artifacts button to its right
edit: thinking about it, but maybe you want to make sure you're downloading the most recent from the Main branch
edit2: so to be exact, you can get the latest elf (four days old) right from here afaik https://gitlab.com/skmp/dca3-game/-/jobs/8776061700
That's the last one I built with and have played on
