Best Bleemcast Self-Boots?

Post by MoeFoh »

What are your favorites that run flawlessly or near flawlessly?

Question inspired after seeing @dubcity's review of Critical Blow.

Bleemcast selfboot as in booting in gdemu ?
Warhammer dark omen
Bubble bobble
Apocalypse now
Strider

Something more but can't remember right now

Dark omen was a nice one , scrambled graphics between levels where dialog is but absolutely playable.

On CD-R

Strikers 1945 works but FMV is glitched and sometimes the bigger sprites on screen will glitch

R Type Delta ran near flawless but did have sometimes glitched sprites

Crash bandicoot works but the title screen logo when loading is glitched blue, the game sometimes stutters and sprites once again sometimes can glitch, controls don't feel as responsive as they should either

Captain commando has glitched sprites that are solid colors and coding will appear on them, didn't really play that one for very long because of that

Silent hill has glitched FMVs and textures are glitched, and the game runs not so good

These are the beta selfboot versions

Ridge Racer 1 is flawless on it, nothing has any issues at all on that which is a rare thing. Klonoa is another one that runs super well on it nearly flawless. I actually beat that game and Strider 2 on DC in 1 playthrough.

Wish we could get Harvest Moon running on it. Has always been one of my favorites.

One - runs amazing, looks great and sounds great bar some very minor issues and has a password saving system. A PS1 great but overlooked title and a shout for best Bleemcast game.

Can anyone work their magic to get this patch running for the Dreamcast? I do have the old cdi file that was floating around if needed!
