Metal Max: Wild Eyes is there a Demo or Beta?

I recently found out that Metal Max: Wild Eyes was cancelled for the Sega Dreamcast. The game was set in a post-apocalyptic open world and was showcased at a gaming event. Is there a beta or demo of this game, anywhere? such a shame the game never saw the light of day.

It was shown at the Toyko Game Show '99. As far as I know no playable build or demo released/public.
