NHL 2K2 Roster Editing?

So it seems the user "latiasfan2004" on GameFAQS has been updating NBA 2k2 right up to March 2024!! Maybe get in touch with them and ask how they're updating rosters?

Yeah, I can't hex edit the existing players. In the case of NBA 2K1, as you can see here, I can only see a handful of player names- some of which are even cut off.

That rosters are not ordered by teams, I know almost all that NBA players, for example: Allen Iverson and Greg Ostertag goes in Pihlapedlphia 76ers but there seems to be no order in that pic in any direction.
