Toyota Doricatch Series

Post by randombrewer »

Hello everyone,
After collecting Dreamcast for over a decade, I was able to get my hands on most of the Toyota Doricatch series. I have dumped all of the games I own which include :

-Estima (2000)
-FunCargo (1999)
-Gaia (1999)
-Celsior (2000)
-Hilux Surf (1999)
-Land Cruiser 100 / Cygnus (1999)
-Land Cruiser Prado (1999)

Still missing (and probably always will) :
RAV4 L (1999)
Celica (1999)

EDIT: I uploaded them to archive.org and posted the image of my collection. I hope this is a good contribution to the community. Dreamcast is my favorite console of all time and beyond collecting the USA list, I am happy I can contribute. Enjoy!

Should I use some file upload website or is there a direct upload feature?

This is incredibly generous and thank you! The legendary Doricatch series finally accessible after all these years. I really appreciate this.

If anyone wants to sell or knows of a listing for the remaining RAV4 and Celica, I will gladly buy them.

Thanks again| I know these aren't cheap and must have cost a fortune - not to mention the years you must have spent looking.

Could I ask which ones you think are least rare/most rare - or are they all as rare as each other? Also, did you manage to ever get lucky and buy one from someone who had no idea of their value or rarity? Just curious.

Will keep an eye out for those last two. I guess the best bet is Japanese online auction sites.

Just prepping a new card for DC, will add these and marvel at some vintage Toyota action. I quite like these offbeat Dreamcast discs - I would really recommend the Dreamcast Express collection; they're a great little time capsule and worth digging through.

I think the least rare are the estima and the land cruiser 100/cygnus. I saw these selling on ebay for 1.3k about 2 years ago and were unsold for a long time. I bought all of the ones I listed as a bundle about 3-4 years ago except the FunCargo which I got separately.

I was learning how to dump gdi with the broadband adapter and ran into an old post saying that no one had dumped them so seemed like a good opportunity to learn and contribute. :D

I think these are all equally rare. I've been following / saved japanese auction sites/ ebay for over 10 years and have only seen them pop up 5 times. It seems that since these were given out to Toyota dealers, not a lot of people knew what to do with them. I think the other only other way to track them down would be to ask around in japan which I might try when I go visit.
