Well I've just finished this new mod -
I had to do this, after playing PSO online on my Dreamcast constantly for the last few nights my thumb is red raw -(an I'm a Steelfixer by trade - out of work at minute though )
I think you should start selling these! drunken ghost is going to make me one, so I don't need you to do one for me anymore, but after seeing this I know others will want one!
Cool. From the pictures it looks like the dome part of the thumbstick is still the DC one. Did you use the whole 360 thumbstick or somehow cut it and use just the top half?

Yeah I spent abit of time making a 'whole' xbox stick fit - and it did - however it just didnt feel 100%
(hard to explain but I think as it's not quite 100% fit it didnt operate quite as smoothly)
I permanatly fixed the 360 thumb part to the stalk of the original - it now looks good and feels 100%
My first one didn't feel quite as smooth as a normal DC thumbstick but after going back and working on it some more I got all 3 of mine to feel perfectly smooth.
Did you use the thick middle section of the 360 one or the skinny DC one? At first I thought the thicker middle section on the 360 thumbstick might reduce your movement range. I trimmed down a controller housing so it can no longer hit the edge and tested it against two other controllers and I couldn't tell any noticeable difference.
I always like to see different ways of doing things, it helps everyone come up with new ideas. Either way you go it is nice. I won't ever use a normal DC thumbstick again.
I always try to imagine this scenario, If Sega hasn't gave up do you think Dreamcast and the Xbox could coexist? Would M$ Still update the Windows CE...

You guys are full of shit. Xbox would not have survived without Sega's over 6 billion player audience right off the bat.
