Ecco 2 sentinel of universe

Hi Guys,

I got some ecco 2 sentinel of universe files on internet. I know that
we cant make an working iso from it, but i tried to replace some GDE files which has the same name in original ecco iso. The files are a bit larger in original version but i could make a working iso and then the modified ecco
could work in dc.
However the atlantis level froze up on tittle, before entering the level. I believe its due to size or something buggy. Anyway is there a way to hack
it to be read on ecco original iso?

Mh, I have thought about this on other games too, but maybe the game engine from the first game and second beta have changed too much to allow swapping of maps or models?

Maybe that´s the case Anthony. The levels, besides the same gde file name, may have some different data. Others, with diferent filename, even renamed like the original one, freezes the game a lot earlier than, for example, atlantis level (right on boot).
I believe we have an alpha version of the game...anyway the people
from dark sea site got several prototypes and maybe one of those betas may be hacked or changed to a bootable iso.
