Please check the other forums in the Dreamcast section before posting here to see if your topic would fit better in those categories. Example: A new game/homebrew release would go in the New Releases/Homebrew/Emulation section: http://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=5 or if you're having an issue with getting your Dreamcast to work or a game to boot it would go in the Support section: http://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=42
Firstly, I'd like to say thank you to DC-Talk for providing the modified Planetweb 3.0 browser. It's been a great tool for sending my VMU files to my PC via email (found a UK ISP with a DC compatible SMTP!) as well downloading saves that Dreamkey 3 can't.
Now my question: I found the remains of MSR's official webpage here: http://web.archive.org/web/*sr_31nr_10/ ... m-key.com/* but unfortunately none of the official rankings are present. I know this is a long shot but was anybody here able to get a copy of these rankings before Sega shut the site? If so, I would be very grateful if you send me a copy so I have some fast times to compete against.
Thanks in advance.
PS I'm aware of the unofficial MSR league tables at dcarena.de and Cyberscore.
Thanks for your replies. I've already sent a PM to lordnikkon at OC so I'll await his response.
As for dc-arena my account registration is still awaiting activation from a moderator....and I applied 2 months ago! Maybe the service is restricted to German speakers only. Also the majority of dc-arena's ghosts are beatable and some suffer from corruption (ie they suddenly turn into a wall and accelerate against it - another MSR bug).
In the meantime I've been searching though the remains of the old DreamArena portal at archive.org and have found some old competition times that are 1-2 seconds faster than me.....great news as it's another excuse to play the game again!
Bah! My request to Sega Europe has come back...........
Good evening,
Do you have a copy of the old internet rankings for MSR that used to be accessed via the game's browser. Bizarre Creations, the producers of the game, said Sega Europe were in charge of the online side hence this request. The reason I ask is that I'm playing MSR again and am interested to know the fastest times for each course and Time Trial (Kudos ranking does not interest me).
If you have these in an archive, could you please provide me with a copy? If you need to blank out usernames for Data Protection purposes I fully understand this so long as the best time for each course/trial is present.
If it's any help MSR's DC webpage was hosted on the old Dreamarena portal between 2000 - 2002 and the special URL was metropolis.dream-key.com. I have found part of this site at archive.org but unfortunately the ranking sections are not present.
I look forward to your reply.
Yours faithfully

Hello rjay63,
Thank you for contacting SEGA Support.
Thanks so much for writing in support of the Dreamcast!
We genuinely appreciate that so many people still think of them and the games with such fondness.
Unfortunately due to the age of the game we do not have access to ranking or gameplay information.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused, if you have any further queries please contact us.
Kind Regards,
SEGA Support
Very impressed with Sega Europe's response time (less than 12 hours)!
Guess lordnikkon is my last hope.....

Lord Nikon won't give it to you. He keeps saying that he will eventually add an archive page (and I believe him) but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
Maybe he will?
