Re: Homebrew DC Version of Guitar Hero
I played it; it is difficult - but playable. It is the video graphic display layout and the poor user interface. It is so unappealing and the music is so uninspiring. But it works.

Re: Homebrew DC Version of Guitar Hero
The problem is that the code was written in Python. The entire code would have to be re-written for the Dreamcast to be functional. The other problem is that the game uses too much RAM the way it is coded.
Could it be fixed with a re-write; yes.
Will it happen; no.
Too bad Cryptic Allusions didn't mod their "Feet Of Fury" to be the first guitar sim for the DC. There is still no guitar sim other than the Bleemcast version of Guitar Freaks that Smith provided us. I did use a Total Control adapter and a PS2 guitar with the DC while playing Guitar Freaks.
