Why don't you just try to port the Half Life PC version? Moding Half Life looks and plays better, and porting Half Life PC mods over to Dreamcast is very easy.

Some tried to port some Quake 3 engine games to DC like Medal of Honor or some other game, but it was too hard I think.

Team Fortress was already ported from PC, its on my Quake mods collection disc I downloaded from DCISOZone.

We already have Half-Life for the DC. I have played it for many hours years ago (loved it). Are you still looking for a tester?

If the Half-Life PC version has bots, I will do that instead.

Yeah, it won't be MP, but it will still be fun none the less. It could be a SP version just like the Counter-strike DC was that was ported from PC.

I will link you to some HL modding tutorials to get you started.

I already know about Half-Life modding, and that was mapping not modding.
I hope he talks about hint brushes and texture scale, those can drastically improve the FPS of a map, along with Zoners Compile Tools.

For Solitude we use Half-Life BSP.

I know it was mapping, but it helps with modding does it not lol? The bottom of the post has info on how to actually port models from PC hl mods, so thats why I posted that, just trying to help you know? ;)

Wow, I am deeply sorry, I didn't mean to come off that way in the post. I apologize.
