i once saw one of those in a yard sale for 5 dollars but i thot it wasnt gonna work since it was cheap.

I have actually been in the market for a handheld for awhile.. I was going to with the Nintendo DS, or Sega Nomad... But I always did have a soft spot for Neo*Geo games.. plus there is a Sega Connection there with hardware.... How well do these hold up?

I guess it does not really matter, I found one NIB on Ebay and it is on its way along with both of the Metal Slugs, Sonic Pocket Adv, and SNK vs. Capcom MotM.

Surprisingly you can find them all over the web new packaged with those games for cheap. SNK must have had a promo deal come out before the demise of the hand held and tha tswhy there are so many of them.

I bought the Unit for about $40.00 with the original box, instructions and batteries the games were between $5.00 and $9.00.

Not a bad deal for a sweet and obscure handheld... I mean.. come on... Neo f'n Geo over here... LOL

They're very cool. In public, most people will wonder what the heck you are playing on . They'll think its a new cell phone or pocket pc.
