VGA Adapter

I just bought one and I can't figure out how to get the sound to work when I plug in via VGA to the tv. Theres this mini din audio next to the where you plug in the vga cable on the adapter but I tried that on the tv and I get no sound when I connect it.

hook a headphone up to the vga box, to see if the audio works, it might be busted.

normally it should work fine if you hook it up to a tv (check if you didn't put it in the headphone port, I know I did once )
