These two games may look the best but what racing game is the best, as in most fun?

i think i enjoyed hydro thunder the most.

Hydro Thunder is really hard for me.

Even if I hit every turbo and get every thing I can I still get 2nd or 3rd.

Yet, the same guy gets 1st over and over again when clearly all of the opponents didn't hit turbos most of the time and are magically able to catch up with me.

I had fun playing two player.

Is there a difficulty setting somewhere, I couldn't find one, I think thats how the Thunder series is supposed to work, even if it is that hard, I guess.

yeah it is a very hard game to master. you have to get almost all of the turbos and learn the secret routes. as for a difficulty setting, i don't recall there being one. when i played the game on a regular basis i didnt mid the difficulty. it made it challenging. but now days when i pick it up it does seem extremely hard. same goes for 4 wheel thunder. so yeah i think you are right. the thunder series was meant to be challenging.


i think my 2nd choice for the funnest DC racer would be MSR. it just so happens that is one of the better looking ones. if you're into rally racing i would go with test drive v rally before sega rally 2.

Rush Rush Rally and F355 are probably my favorites. F355 overall.
