Japanese Systems...

Post by sega2k »

If I buy a Japanese console, do I need a special power plug to play them in the US? B/c I thought I head someone say that the Japanese and US have different power supplies.

I think it will work but it will slowly fry your console. I forget the proper adaptor, but yes getting one would be wise.

A Japanese system will work fine in the US, the power range is acceptable. It's a US system that won't work off Japanese power, as its out of range, and anything in/out of a pal system to other areas (very different range).

The plug on the back is different on my japanese system. An xbox 1 power plug works great with it though. The old style, not the updated one.
