Alternatives
Are there any alternatives for getting online with Windows 7? All I want to get online for is to download updated rosters for NBA 2K2 straight to my VMU instead of buying the required cable(s) to transfer the file from my computer to the VMU.

Re: Alternatives
yeah you can buy the broadband adapter or you can use dial up. in both cases you won't need your pc. you just use the Dreamcast to surf to the web location and get your VMU download.

Sorry for not being clear enough in the OP. I meant alternatives to this http://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtop ... f=3&t=2427.

Re: Alternatives
i kind of figured that you want alternatives to a server and the answer i gave are indeed alternatives to it. the only other option is to use a different OS. the one i use is windows 98, others use versions of linux. a few people had some luck with XP but it is harder to figure out.

You could do this: http://www.dreamcast-talk.com/forum/vie ... f=3&t=3122 . It doesn't require the use of a computer. Also, I assume you're downloading the rosters from email client or website via the web browser? I'm pretty sure NBA 2k2 itself will not connect to the internet anymore.

Re: Alternatives
no, but some people have made trades and created players to make a more up to date roster. they upload their saves to the web where others can download them.Combin0wnage wrote:They still update the rosters for 2K2?
