It's actually really good on the Dreamcast, and looks better than the PC version, so I don't see what is "really bad" about it. Sure, it has slight framerate issues, but nothing too bad.
Also, you can play ported PC mods on Dreamcast. They Hunger and Paranoia are 2 of the best mods on PC, now on a console for the first time.

I don't see how it is really bad if it has been optimized personally by Tux to load maps in 15 seconds as opposed to 30+ on the original scene released version.

Still loads in ages, and the controls suck compared to PC.
That said, it is definitely not a BAD port, I just prefer the PC version.

Re: too good to be true half life games for dreamcast on eba
you do know that this game has mouse and keyboard support, don't you? the controls are the same as a PC with that configuration. this game is actually pretty good on the Dreamcast. complaining about load times is reasonable but the rest of the game is fine. other console games have poor load times too and i still wouldn't call those games bad either.Dihnekis wrote:Still loads in ages, and the controls suck compared to PC.

the load times are unbearable, it's not that they're long it's just that there is a loading screen every 2 minutes.
