just been looking at the other DC Live players pages etc and noticed that Mazonemayu's score might be slightly off, he came 3rd in one comp and 2nd in another, should that add up to 30 points? he appears to only have 20. Sorry to be such a PITA lol, I just couldn't help but notice as I was looking at the other players! :)

Nope, it's correct. As stated on the Ranking FAQ page:
If there are only three participants in any tournament, only the top two will receive points. This will prevent a player who gets last place frequently (in a game with only three participants) from getting a high ranking (as opposed to a player who has only participated in a couple competitions but won both).
This is basically just to maintain balance. He may have come in third but it's still technically last (and there is usually no prize for last place).

To summarize:
A player that only participates in a few competitions but wins 100% of them should rank higher than a player that participates in every competition and ranks last almost every time. Wouldn't you agree?

BTW, did you see my Challenge Submission thread?

I know you've had some ideas for Challenges so here's your chance to make your own. I already have this month's challenge ready (starts on the 11th) but I'll need one for next month.

Alright folks, I made this change a while ago but forgot to make a post about it. I've created a score system for Dreamcast Live called your "Dreamcast Live Score". This score is determined by your how you rank in competitions, achievements earned, and Challenges you've completed. This all adds up to your score and determines your overall ranking. For more info, please see the Ranking FAQ page here:
