Will there ever be a chance to recover Daytona USA online features?
I've heard that you can tinker with some Winroute numbers while running it with the Dreamcast connected to a modem and hopefully get lucky.

That's probably unlikely. You can play Daytona USA online with PC and over netplay on Sega Saturn though.
