Oh, and just a small question: Do you want to create stages, too, or do you want to focus on the characters first? I'm just asking because there are a feeeew small limit-related problems with the Stages, hehe.
As far as the Jojo BA characters I wasn't thinking about one from the game but kinda like a homage to the game by using a Tech Romancer character and having them similar to a Jojo BA character. Like killing stones with 1 bird -_^

As far as Stages I was thinking some up. But I didn't get too in depth on that part simply, just selecting what stages I can use from various titles. Im thinking to use stages not from other fighting games only but other games that characters didn't make the roster. So maybe stages from Grandia, and Skies of Arcadia, just stating them to name a few, maybe even the Professor K DJ booth in Jet Grind Radio.

have you considered any from 3d fighters other than Soul Calibur? Such as Tech Romancer or Project justice? maybe even psychic force? mind you they probably wouldn't work
Yeah I have Ein and Kasumi from DOA2, I have Akira from VF3TB and also Galuda and Ryoma from Power Stone. These are all 3D Fighters. I did have Daigo Kazama and Batsu in the roster but I Limited the roster to about 12 characters. Cause so Far I dont have any help with the development besides the community's input on who they would like to see. Which is great cause everyone mentioned characters that completely passed my mind. Psychic force characters have been looked at but I didn't consider any, main part is I never played the game I need to get a feel for each of the characters. I'll need some play time with the characters to see which one can work cause that game is kind of like dragon ball z.

As far as Dalkstalkers I didnt consider any of them either.

But as far as the Characters go almost any character can go into the game. Im not trying to build a Broken Rush Down Mash any button for a combo but more of a balance and Simple game with good visuals and music. Even though I cant make Music ill head over to new grounds I can use Music there that the artist use as long as its not for profit and I mention them in the credits.

Just Last night I also though of Sketch Turner from Comic Zone and One of the Battletoads Rash, Pimple or Zitz. I prefer Pimple because hes Brown and stands out between the 3.

I wish I could get the Game to look like that but. Its a 3D engine made with 2D handrawn sprites. Hopefully that CubicVR engine puts the Dreamcast 2 its limits cause I'll use the Engine for another Fighter.

Mmmm, I can't get anything via that link.

I read some other posts on your project and realise now that I wasn't being particularly helpful suggesting new characters at this stage ! Oh well, I think you're doing a great job so far with a nice and varied cast and I look forward to the game's release with anticipation.

Well it's not to late in development to change anything. Im Just transitioning some of the characters to a similar art style and look. and as far as moves.I have the list of ideas for Ein, Galuda, Ryoma, Akira, RRR Tyrell and minor moves for the others I haven't worked on the frames for each animations I barely started on the sprites. because I still want to do rotoscoping because it will speed up the process WAY more. So its a good thing contributing. This Community game I want to be like the new MVC Series for the Dreamcast.


Hopefully we can get some online support and VM Scene support to get Downloadable characters If its possible. but I dont think I'll Make DLC for This project but my next Idea that I have will be a much greater improvement over this crossover and have unique characters.

Thanks they will come to life and of course it will take some time to because "Rome wasn't built in a day"

But I've come at halt a bit. I felt that the first Roster I Created was Really Balanced especially cause I had like a Pair thing going on there. Im thinking to go back to that list and Probably Switch out a Few Characters from the Same franchise.

Nightmare I'm Taking out but I'm Thinking Max, or Pimple from Battletoads.

Im Thinking To use a Tech Romancer Character to design like a JOJO BA Character. or Jin Style from MVC/2 But more like a JOJO character since Jin uses his Robot only in Supers, and in JOJO BA they use them in specials and Moves.

Updated something on RRR Tyrell. I might Design her a bit more Phantasy Star like with having like MP system kinda like Hakumen from BlazBlue if that is possible cause that's gonna require some coding on her part.

Jack Wade, Claire Redfield and RRR Tyrell are definitely staying because they are my challenge for this project. Designing moves and normals from scratch.

Hey I have't forget about this project. i Had to move out my old place and now im working on getting things in order to start my project back online. I dont have any internet, or furniture to sit down and work on a project.

Apart from the DC Crossover. i have another project that i've been working on that evolved from the DC Crossover. but it evolved into something with my own characters and story and i feel it will be a fighting game that will be definetly unique. but as far as the topic goes.

Anony have anymore Characters that can possibly replace Nightmare form Soul Calibur since hes such a large character i dont thing i can scale his design properly unless i change the artwork to something much smaller. i'm still having a hard time deciding which art style i should use. card style sprites or CVS/ MVC sprites or if should i go with Rotoscoping which might take some more time but look overall better.
