just how rare is magic the gathering for dreamcast?

Post by Macabre »

Honestly, I didn't even know this was a released game.

Here is some gameplay footage.

I'm a bit of an old-skool magic player, haven't really done much with it lately past the 2012 + expansion download on my 360.

I looked up a bit and apparently the game has the text of the cards in japanese, but still verbally claims what the card is in english as it is being played, so I guess it could be playable with only a minor language barrier.

But I've been searching for it on ebay for a while now... No go.

Anyone else seen this?

Damn thats pricey. I was hoping for a cheap buy since the game would be so out dated.

Could you link me to them? My searches seem to be failing. The best I'm getting is this. Thats searching for "Magic" and "Magic:"

If its really that high on the price tag then its forgettable. I'm sure I could get an old school magic deck fix just by asking some friends

Ah, I figured out why I didn't find them. I had to check the "Worldwide" option under the filters. I have no clue why as I still see results from other countries either way. For some reason a few of them don't show up unless you check Worldwide. Nice tip anyway since I've been looking for imports lately.

If I may be so bold to suggest, hit up Play-Asia! They usually have it in stock pre-owned for less $45 (before shipping) which seems like a deal considering what other places are charging. Good luck! Now back to my Fast Striker :)

Typically in the $40 - $50 range used straight out of Japan, pre-import fee's. Closer to $75 after you pay for the import services and shipping.

Well thats why l said before shipping. And even at $75, its still the cheapest price compared to what others here have posted finding on amazon and ebay.

That's because Amazon is a joke and modern Ebay has scared away most private sellers by frequently raising fee's and taking away seller's rights to have their own sales policies. So naturally the prices are bound to be more reasonable in a more economically friendly environment such as that which exists in the Japanese online used goods market.
