gens4all over sd card issues

hey guys, so I downloaded the SDISO of the Gens4all, has anyone else done this? i seem to have problems running it now, it doesn't seem to pick up the roms, I'm pretty sure the download was supposed to include them and the SDISO file is over 600mb large so in theory it has all it needs I just unpacked it, should I have used winrar or Winzip?? SMS/gg4all works fine, but I also have the same problem with the SNES4ALL, probably a simply fix/answer but I seem to be unable to locate the roms once running the emulator. thanks in advance

Um, been a while since I used it. I do remember that you had to press x to browse the rom directory though, pretty dumb in my opinion, but it works.

I managed to get it working again, you have to, as you say, press x to browse the sd, and then instead of clicking all the obvious folders you have to click on "CD" and then the roms are in there, however all the roms I tried sucked balls. I ran Sonic and Knuckles and it was slow as shit, Comix Zone the sound effects were all slow mo and the txt was in spanish, tried a few others and they either didn't start or were pretty poor conversions.

I have a genesis emulator on my HTC Desire HD Smart phone and they pretty much all run perfect. so, not sure why this one is so cack, maybe its just my copy or something. mind you everything else works ok, NEOGEO roms, game gear/master system emulator, snes4all, they seem ok

the only really annoying thing about the SD card stuff is that, for the majority of it all, if I wanna quit I have to turn the machine off as it wont quit back to the Dreamshell menu. All the BOR engine stuff does (Mostly) just not the emulators.

Oh and side note, does anyone know how to get Duke Nukem to work? It wont run for me, the menu comes up but nothing happens. Also Top Hunter SD doesn't seem to work either, has anyone tested it or Duke? thanks

I saw another genesis emulator for Dreamcast so I think I will try that and report back

From what you guys are talking, I think you are trying Gens Preview 2. Please, try Preview 3 because it has full SD support (it has a /sd folder, and the roms don't have to be inside the ISO), and of course, it's quite more faster.

not sure if that is what I'm after, all I did before was just download the Gens4all SD ISO file from ISO Zone, what do I need to do with this version from the link you refer to? thanks
