Tinkerbell's Dog 2 PSO Quest Glitch

Not sure if anyone can help me with this but I just played a quest called "Tinkerbell's Dog 2" with two other players and it glitched up and wouldn't let me move. I eventually quit and when I went to load my character (Teal'c - level 27), he had been replaced with some character named CICIL (Level 13)! I am really annoyed at this! I didn't have a backup of my save file so it seems I lost him for good. Am I to assume there is no way to get him back? This quest should really be taken down as this is a pretty serious glitch.

That really sucks, i'm sorry to say but you will have to start over.

If you were on pc, i could tell you how to reach the desired exp, i can remake all items lost if you can remember them, but i can't restore exp, especially on the dreamcast.
Once you get to play again (please don't give up) backup the char on the server, if something goes wrong you can just go online with whatever bugged char you have and then load the same, another way is to have another save on another memory card (consider it as a 2nd save state), you may lose some progress but i'm sure it's better then to lose everything.

I have never seen anything like that to be honest, in what part of the quests did that happen and why.
CICIL is a npc (that fat lady that gets skiny in an offline quest), i have no idea why that happened at all
I guess instead of beeing NOLed by a player you were CICILed by the quest, but i have no idea why that would happen.

Are you sure you're using the same memory card when you played with your hucast? did anything else changed besides the char name? (such as id, class, aspect, items)

It must really suck, especially because you had so high expectations when you returned online.

That's what I thought. I guess I'll just try and recreate him.

Everything has changed except what I had stored in the bank. I store all my meseta there so at least I have that. Can I give it to you so I can grab it with a new character?

I guess you could but I think I'll just do the swap as I have a few items in the bank I want to transfer over as well. Just let me know when you can be on. I'm playing some offline right now to level up "New Teal'c".
