welcome bro
It's so awesome that people still look for dreamcast communities.
Every ps2 forum today is dead, but the dreamcast community lives on, with new games coming out every year, new people finding out about games like shenmue.
It's like, today's games are so bad, I have a ps3 and I just can't get myself to finish ANY game, they're all so much a like, every game trying to be a movie instead of a game or just gives you tons of guns that are all the same, they get boring so fast, so people like us, who appreciate quality and not quantity, go back to the roots of 3D gaming.
Playing Shenmue, old Resident Evil games, Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur 1, etc. brings tears to my eyes, I know that we'll never see another generation of games like the ones I mentioned, everything today is "modern warfare 7: gears of uncharted", nobody has the guts to create something like seaman.

Hey guys, just joined. I got my first dreamcast in 2001/2002, now I have 4 dreamcasts and a slowly expanding collection of games (Gdroms) and DC odds and ends, like the hong kong VCD player + wireless remote.

I used to hang around the old dcemulation forums circa 2001-2005, back when stuff like Gypplay, emulators, and KOS was brand new. Put the DC away for awhile, but now I'm coming back to it in a big way and looking for a fun community. Wish there was more activity around here, but considering the DC has been defunct for over 10 years now and new third party and homebrew news/releases are a trickle of what they once were, I'll take it :)

I like talking about everything dreamcast. It was my favorite console and over the years I've read so many articles and talked to so many people about it, that I have a pretty comprehensive knowledge of everything related to dreamcast: from commercial games, hardware development, betas/unreleased games, peripherals, to what's out there for DC in terms of homebrew software and tools for development.
