Can anyone confirm or deny if the black Sega Sports console will play burned discs like (0) consoles? Thank you!

Re: Sega Sports Console
The only console I can remember having difficulties playing cd games was one of the Hello Kitty models. I think most other model work fine.

To answer your question:
Yes it does play CDrs. I have one and it does.
The sports DCs were all manufactured in 2000, before the 2001 bios revision (which only affects a very very small number of dreamcasts). It looks really cool in the black shell, definitely worth the purchase if you see it for an ok price.

It's a little higher than I'd ideally want to pay for it, at $55, but no big deal. It's in good shape. My old (0) console recently packed it in so I'm replacing it. Thanks for that info mate.

Re: Sega Sports Console
I'd really like to see if a 2001 Dreamcast honestly wouldn't play burned discs. Several years ago I remember that everybody adamantly claimed that Sega Sports models were where CD-R support was removed. That's definitely not true though since my girlfriend has one and she burns games.
