Thought many of you would be interested in this release. For those that don't know, The Dreamcast Half Life was cancelled at the last minute back in 2001, but resurfaced on the internet a few years later for DC fans to download. The Dreamcast version was far superior to any other at the time with improved character models, graphical upgrades and greater poly count. Now that same version has been ported to the PC.

I thought you'd like that I love HL too, I think it's still one of the best PC games out there.
Going slightly off topic, I'm still hoping that the source code to many PC games from the mid to late 1990's will be released so we have a chance to port some great games over to the DC.
Chilly Willy, the guy that ported many versions of Doom and other 90's FPS games to DC says he plans on porting Aliens Trilogy and Duke Nukem 3D. This guy knows how to port stuff, so I take his word for it.

Well it's great to hear that some very talented people still want to work on the Dreamcast - it makes me very hopeful for the future.

That's great news Anthony..........but that was sept 2011. I think that thread's worth a bump, don't you ? Or are you saying you've heard more recent info ?
Lol, people don't want to bug him, cause that would only alienate the developer and push him away from the community with overly eager guys posting every month asking for updates.
I can assure you Chilly Willy has an excellent track record, and when he says he is going to port something, you can believe him.
I don't suppose bumping it would be a bad thing, it has been 5 months already lol.
Ok I just bumped it. Hope to here something soon in the next few days.
