Dreamcast demo discs that came with console?

im from the u.s. so my dreamcast box came with the demo. too bad that was years ago. i would constantly play sonic adventure on the demo waiting to purchase the full version. it would only let you play Emerald Coast on the demo. i was hooked on the music and scenery plus being a sonic fan. of course it had more games in it but sonic was the most i played on it. damn had a nostalgic moment. todays generation sucks >=\ .

i used to play the sonic demo over and over as well! It was clearly a showcase for the game (and system at the time), and compared to other levels in the full version, it was the most similar in terms of scenery and aesthetic to the classic sonic green hill type levels.

it was actually DreamOn Volume 0 in the UK, as volume 1 came out with the first issue of the Dreamcast UK magazine. I can remember having every issue of the ODM UK for a long time, I eventually got rid of them though

yeah no lie I think the first volume of Dream On was called volume 0, I need to double check now though as I might be going loopy lol

The disc that got supplied with the ODM UK was a PC CD-ROM, so even if it's called DreamOn Volume 0, it isnt really a demo disc for DC

I'm not talking bout the one that came with the magazine, and yeah... I'm pretty sure all the Dream On Discs were Dreamcast Demos, why the hell would it have been a PC CD ROM? Anyway no I mean the demo disc that came IN the Dreamcast box was a Dream On disc called volume 0, mind you this was on release day, its quite possible it changed over time. I'm gonna have a look now when I get in though

My bad, I confused the US with the UK one. However the first ever demo disc that got supplied with ODM UK is Dreamon Volume 2, and the one inside the DC box is Volume 1.

hmm.... really? Ok maybe that was what I meant lol, I know there was a gap/inconsistency somewhere, I'm still gonna check my collection
