I've tried Xlink Kai on Xbox and PS2 and it's great. Every game with LAN support can be played online and it's awesome - it 're-borns' the dead games.
Unfortunately, Xlink Kai is not available for Dreamcast, so is there any kind of service like this that supports Dreamcast? If so, what are Dreamcast's LAN games so that they can be played?

Re: Xlink Kai for Dreamcast?
um right now we have PSO and Q3 LAN online with servers, probalby better then that xlink and normally the dramcast games look for servers not Lan connections thats the main issue. so even if 2 DC under the same router with a BBA tried to play they will be unable to unless there talking to a server.

Re: Xlink Kai for Dreamcast?
There are no "LAN" games for the Dreamcast. There are a few that used the serial cable to do system link, but there are no traditional LAN-based games on the Dreamcast.
Remember, the network adapter for the Dreamcast didn't come with it, only a dialup modem did. You wouldn't have a LAN with a modem, simply because that wouldn't make much sense. Since the network adapter didn't come with the system, came out later than the system, and was actually fairly rare in comparison to the number of consoles sold, it wouldn't have made all that much sense to have made a game support a LAN mode in that manner.
Now, you might be able to rig something up using a coder's cable and a PC as a go-between to do something sorta like Xlink Kai, but that would be difficult and expensive to pull off, unfortunately.
