New and need help with Juno.
Hello. I'm new and I want to play phantasy star online ver.1. BBA's are too expensive so I am trying to connect using Juno. I followed the guide but, after it connects it says I have an incorrect user name or password. In user name I put 0:6.2B2JU:[email protected]. In password I put the encrypted password. I even tried with my normal user name and password. But every time it connects it says Incorrect username or password. Could someone please tell me what to put in every space. I am using planetweb ver. 1. I really want to get online and play. Thank You.

Re: New and need help with Juno.
Hi, FFJump. Welcome. Sorry to hear of your troubles.
I should be able to be of assistance. It is possible that Juno changed their systems and this method no longer works. I cannot test this account because I don't have a phone line. Can anyone verify that this still works?
Did you create a new account from scratch? If not you may need to make a new one just for the DC. Other than that what you are putting the the fields should be working.
Try using this newer way: http://dchelp.dcemulation.org/?Juno_Dunning_Helper This should most definitely work for you.
Keep us updated.

Re: New and need help with Juno.
OK, I did what you said and at first it didn't work. But then I removed the .'s from jweb.juno.com and it connected!
But its says my internet was restricted.
Will this stop me from playing phantasy star online? Also why does it say "unable to find host" when I try to go to another website? Thank you for your time and help.

Ok, I got phantasy star online to connect but, then it says "connection to network lost. The server could be under maintanice". Could someone tell me what the problem could be? Did I not put the codes in right? Thank You, and I hope to see you online.

Re: New and need help with Juno.
this does sound like you are using the wrong codes. the game will do that if you use incorrect codes or if the server is off. make sure your using the correct region and correct version. i think you said you had US version 1? so find the codes for that game. PAL v1 codes will not work, nor will PAL v2.FFJump wrote:Ok, I got phantasy star online to connect but, then it says "connection to network lost. The server could be under maintanice". Re: New and need help with Juno.
I am using the us v.1 codes that are in the guide to connect. I spelled them correctly but, I may have not put them in right. Could you tell me how to put them in step-by-step? I never used codebreaker before this. I can't download them becuase when I use the browser after it connects it says my internet service was restricted. I haven't used all 10 hours! And I put *67 in the long distance prefix!

Re: New and need help with Juno.
I put the user name and password exactly as they appeared in dialguard. It didn't work but then I moved the dots from @jweb.juno.com and it connected but said my internet service was restricted. Should I remove the *67 from the long distance prefix? In dialup number I put nothing in the first space and I put the whole number in the other space. Should I change it?

Re: New and need help with Juno.
yes remove *67... wth would that be there for anyway? and as far as putting the whole number in one spot? if you don't need to Dial an area code for the number then don't use it. so if the number is local to you only use 7 digits instead of 10. and if its long distance use 1 not *67.FFJump wrote:I put the user name and password exactly as they appeared in dialguard. btw *67 blocks your number from caller IDs, making your phone number show up as privet.
i have never used juno before. can you post a link to the guide you are using?
