Trouble connecting to quake

hi all,

before i was able to connect but now nothing. i can connect to the ip 72.223.70.4 fine but connecting the servers i get nothing. am i suppose to input anything in the DNS or subnet?

just to note i can connect to PSO just fine

I do know that I was in that server playing last night when I got the black screen then eventually disconnected (I was player #4). Once I attempted to reconnect I couldn't because the server became full. There was a second server at that address but when I connected to it, there was a spectator and a bot.

Did you try the other server (DC-Talk, 100.40.25.69:27960) to see if you could connect? I was there first last night (with two others), but I had connection problems/warnings on screen.

Just to note, seems like there were a total of seven on last night being earlier I saw 4 on TacT's server and 2 others on the DC-Talk server.

nvm got it working. i left everything blank and that fixed it. just a minor mistake

btw could you list a site or the ip to Tacts servers?

Theres a number you can put into your DNS settings before you connect that gives you the server list, theres 4 in it, the 2 DC Talk servers and the 2 that TacT runs.

Yeah if you set your primary DNS to our server IP address 100.40.25.69 the master list should appear.

Edit: yeah that didn't work but i can input the ips manually
