How to go online ?

I would like to know how to connect the dreamcast on internet.There is no plug to put a ethernet wire

Dreamcast was made for dial up, to use your computer's internet you need a BBA (broadband adaptor), if by anyreason you can't get one, then use dial up.

dial up line is the same as a telephone line, but yeah, you need that line to make the connection.

Be prepared to spend at least $100 on one because they are fairly rare.

1. Which browser CD do u have?

2. If you have a standard phone connection, you're good (book with browser explains connection).

3. To note, all Dreamcasts have at least a dial-up modem.

4. BBA limits you to internet (if your browser is the latest version), PSO and Quake 3.

5. All other games online require a dial-up connection (Maximum Pool, StarLancer and 4x4 Evolution).

what region are you in? do your have DSL or cable? and what service provider are you using for your computers internet?

you might be able to set up a PC-DC server. this option works but its pain staking. as of now its the only way to use your PCs broadband internet on all the Dreamcasts games.
