So I got a Diamond 56K Modem for my PC...
I got a Diamond 56K modem for my PC and I couldn't install the drivers for it on my windows 7 64 bit computer. So I tried it with a VM and it still wouldn't load on the windows 98 VM I had, eventually stopping from existing on it all together. Is there a PC modem anyone could recommend to me or is this a good one but I am doing something wrong?

I havent checked prices lately. My recommendation is the external serial port US Robotics.

I have a USRobotics one now, the other one kinda failed. Me and a friend have been going though a guide he found online, it's been about 5 days at this point but we seem to have no luck with windows 98SE or linux. Windows 98SE was pretty close though.dude2207 wrote:Diamond has made any different modems, do you know which one you have?
