No Audio for Gauntlet Legends

Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been here. I finally got my AV cable for my DC yesterday, so it was my first time playing Gauntlet Legends. No audio. What the WTF? That didn't stop me from playing, though. I just put on Piano Collections: Final Fantasy VII to listen to while playing. I did check the DC. I removed the disc and played around in the menu and there was audio there, but not in the game. Has this happened to anyone before? Gauntlet Legends is the only game I have at the moment, so I can't try any others, yet. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey, welcome back! Congrats on the AV cable, enjoy your DC. I do not have that game so I can not say, sorry. It's not an official disk correct?

I own the game (legit) & it works fine here so maybe the fault is on your end.
is it legit or a copy?

It is an official copy--that, or a damn fine bootleg.
I sure hope it's not the DC. What I'll have to do is pick up another game and test it again.
I think I'm gonna eBay Jet Grind Radio right now!!

my official copy works fine too. i wouldn't have a clue as to why this would happen. did you try turning the game off and restarting to see if it was just a one time fluke?

I'll have to try that. Lately I haven't been able to find much time, though. And even my gaming schedule is busy with games for my 360, my NES, and now my DC.

Well, I have an original copy of Gauntlet Legends as well, and I've never had audio problems.

There could be something wrong with that disc in particular. It's best to try another game and your problem will most likely be solved.

Yeah, I just bid on Shenmue I and II, so I'll be finding that out in a minute. Although I didn't pay for Gauntlet (it came with the DC) it still sucks that there's no audio. Still, I'd prefer the game be broke, and not the console.

you might want to try cleaning the AV connection port. i would think it being dirty or lose might make you not have sound. i have had my come lose before. sometimes i get no picture and other times no sound until i push the cord in tighter.

Do you mean tighter into the TV or into the DC? It's a brand new TV, and a brand new AV cord. I can't imagine those being dirty, but the DC itself might not be so clean.
