Some of those deals you got were absolute steals (FF7 or FF9 would easily get $30 each), and that Sega Sports DC looks incredible (I know, I've had one for years).

As I said in an earlier post, I'd start stocking up on 6th gen games, since they're starting to go for more, and the 7th gen is about to crash (you can already tell Gamestop's scooching the Wii games out).

Back to the topic of overpriced retro games.....
Does any1 have anything else to add?

Sonic Adventure: Limited Edition. I get it, it's the limited edition. But all it is is a portion of the Japanese version with a few bug fixes. I say it's not worth it if you plan on playing it.

Going off that, something I've wondered about for a long time, what percent of retro games/hardware are in landfills now?

I noticed that a guy who used to sell brand new, in box Saturn light guns for 18 dollars is now selling them for 40.

Makes me wish I had bought one back then.

While on the topic of EB Games (GameStop to fellow Americans), I once bought a DS game from them for $40. I never bought from them again. *sigh*

Electronics Boutique used to be its own business, back in the day. That's where I got my first Dreamcast and copies of PSO, IIRC. My Ver.1 disc didn't come with a serial number, so I was sad when I couldn't go online without one, but I called up the store and the guy gave me one to use.

I kind of agree. Though I do have to say old school games and toys are a little pricey nowadays, they are not so pricy that they're impossible to get.
