Re: SLaVE
Ive been waiting to preorder this game too. The site has been inactive. I have been trying to make a new account there as I haven't ordered in years and I moved. But the site doesn't send the confirmation emails. I opened a support ticket, but no response. I know the site is legit, as I've used it before but I'm worried I wont be able to get a preorder in in time...

Re: SLaVE
Store is online again. We had to slightly delay SLaVE's release due to some engine technicalities that were introduced recently (interpolation, miniGL, etc) but it's getting sorted out. I'm going in for a major surgery in two days so I'll be unavailable to help with that so here's hoping we get those engine issues sorted quickly.
That cover art is only a mockup and will be fixed shortly as well. More goodies with the LLE edition will be unveiled shortly as well.

Re: SLaVE
Here's an update on SlaVE straight from the Goat's mouth. I received this in my email tonight.
"As we noted in an earlier message, Jay Townsend's SLaVE, originally due out in April, has been experiencing an unforeseen delay. One of the main developers working on the engine for the title had a personal issue which caused them to have to cease work on the game. We immediately brought in another developer to finish the game, although there is one major bug that arose since he started that we have been unable to find and eliminate as of yet.
To be clear, the gameplay of SLaVE is ready to go, unfortunately the engine that enables the game to run on the Dreamcast is where the problem lies. Due to the nature of this problem, we cannot give an exact timeline of when the game will be complete, but we can promise that as soon as we know we will inform you.
The good news is that the delay is allowing us to tweak the gameplay even further, making the game even better.
We apologize greatly for the delay and are doing everything that we can to ensure that this release happens as soon as possible and is to the quality that you have come to expect from GOAT Store Publishing. If you have any further questions please contact me directly at [email protected]. I will do my best to answer your questions, although we do not have much more to share other than what I have here now.
Additionally, we just recently received the last remaining new copies of Rush Rush Rally Racing from Senile Team and listed them on our site. If you wish to purchase a copy of this great indie title, please visit the GOAT Store, LLC announcement page: http://www.goatstore.com/Announcement/
I hope to be writing again with great news about SLaVE going into production soon. Thanks for your support of the Sega Dreamcast and independent development on it!
