BBA problems. Connecting to PSO and other games.

So I am having a bit of problems with my BBA I have recently purchased online. While the BBA itself works fine it seems that whenever I try to connect to a PSO private server the internet I am using cuts off for about 1 second, which is enough time for me to get booted off the server on PSO. It keeps cutting off every time I connect to a ship for that one second. Is there anyone who would know why this is happening? Thanks!

Are you getting disconnected from every ship?

Yes. Sometimes I can't even connect to the ship it just stays at a menu-less picture while the animations continue.

Just for background/diagnostic info only, can you connect with anything else other than PSO with your BBA for any length of time recently (Q3, Toy Racer or XDP)?
