Hey all,
I've been working on this for a bit and was done for a while but i started working on the portal. This is a restored and active Sonic Adventure website. With 192.185.5.9 as DNS2 the 'Internet' option in the main menu will be redirected there. Pretty much restoring the feature all together. I have the vmu files hosted as they were and will be ranking the events again.
So now you can download the events again and submit your times for ranking. Though submissions right now are by taking a screenshot. If anyone wants to reverse engineer the script for uploading the actual rank data again then cool but for now that's the way it'll be done. The current ranking is 7/29-9/31 more info on the site.

Use 192.185.5.9 as DNS2 in your net settings and use the 'internet' option in the game

Re: Active Sonic Adventure website
I've always wondered what the Sonic Adventure website was like! Now all I have to do is find my SA1 disc and a dial-up World Wide Web connection...

Your fandom of SA was kept in mind while working on this lol
There are a few people working on raspberry pi methods for dialing up, follow them if you want. i see this being the easiest option when someone gets a finished minimal setup prog going : http://assemblergames.com/l/threads/mob ... ost-824171

Re: Active Sonic Adventure website
Just wanted to come here and give you a BIG thanks for doing this! I finally hooked my netopia setup backup just for this and WOW! I'm glad I did. Sonic Adventure has been one of my go to nostalgia games for the Dreamcast and to see the web functionality put back in is truly a treat. I know it is lacking full functionality but a good bulk is intact. Having all the events available again is really cool. I know you could get them through other means but this way feels more authentic and brings back some great memories with SA1. So once again THANK YOU!
For anybody who has not tried it yet what are you waiting for? It is back in all its late 90's glory
