Dreamcast SD card reader / Dreamshell

So it's not just my DC, that's good to hear. Was kinda surprised when I booted it up, cuz the big appeal (at least from what I read) of the Dreamshell + SD card reader is using the GD-rom drive less, yet it sounds like it's gonna grind itself to death when booting it up. XP

Probably also has to do with me burning the "DreamShell 4.0 RC 3 CDI Image", not the one with the boot loader which has the DS folder for the SD card..

You really should burn the boot loader version. It won't read from the disc at all after booting. In fact, you can just remove it when it's fully loaded.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Just once again dived into something without looking into it properly in advance due to lazyness...and once again, haste made waste.
