Hi. I'm 32 years old and purchased my first DC January 2000. This is the 4th DC I've owned (Cant seem to let go) and it's nice to see that online support for games I played online back in the day is running. I am using free dial-up service to connect online (old school baby!). I will be playing Quake 3 Arena soon so look for me! Will be getting Starlancer and I own Alienfront Online (With The Mic!) so hope the server comes back online soon. I heard that AFO Mic will work if your using real dial-up connection so if thats the case I hope voice chat will still work. Hope to game with you guys soon. I found this website from a youtube video made by pcwzrd (hope I spelt it right)

Welcome aboard. I actually thought of the same thing with AFO where if dial up was done any other way, (netopia, pc-dc, Dreampi) It would either not function as attended 100% of the time, be to laggy for it to function properly, or not at all. The fact the game can only be played via dial up and the game's mic support isn't server dependent to where the point where the game would't have mic support, I believe this would not be a problem at all and would work just fine. Just don't quote me on that one. I'm not 100% sure.
